Click "Backup" after your filling to finish your storing work quickly. Following situations should be excluded while mistake prompt given.

1 Close the write-protect if the disk's write-protect opened
2 Keep the disk space large enough
3 Super Rabbit Registry Optimizer is halfbaked for certain files lost which need be install again.
4 Do store the backup files in root directory of the disk while bi-byte filenames (including Chinese and Japanese) are not wellcomed.

Restore: The "back-up" turn into restore after your click to "restore" on preface. Files marked with CompBack.cab ,this type of file is an auto-backup registry file in the course of compression by Super Rabbit Optimizer.

Files marked with RestBack.cab,this type of file is an auto-backup registry file in the course of restoring registry by Super Rabbits.

So,which one to choose?It all depends.If the problem is resulted from SCAN function,and you haven't backuped the registry file before hand.Please use .reg file to restore.And if you have backuped the registry,that'll be better,please select the .cab files.

Usually,Windows 98/Me will auto backup its registry file at the startup everyday,and this should be your best choice for restoring.As long as you know in which period the computer is normal,you can restore the according registry file(time will be listed out below the file).We also recommend you use \Windows\Sysbckup\RB00?.cab such file.

Super Rabbit System Rescue would auto-backup a file named with "SRRB?.cab" everyday if Windows 2000/XP had been used. This is the function for Win2000/XP without auto-backup specialy that has the same function with "RB00?.cab" thereinbefore.

However, we recommend you use the latest registry file,and it can restore the content of the registry as much as possible.If you find some software doesn't run correctly,you're only needed to reinstall it,you will see it works again!You can also backup the current registry file before restoring,no matter it is good or worse.If the error occurs after restoring,you can yet restore back to the pre-situation.

From the Win 98,the items' array in Start-Programme can be defined by the users.However,when a menu(shortcut)is deleted,the array information kept in the registry will not be deleted,it remains well in your registry.

2.Invalid Uninstall info

Invalid contents could be cleared by pressing "clearance" key when it has been found after scan. Generally, the "clearance" function act only towards the item with hook. You can give hook to each item one by one.

Tips: Back to the "restore" to find the files with ".reg" which generated automatically when you pressing "clearance" .

Skills: The software can not clear all kinds of dustbins.

The method for registry backup by hand in Windows 95/98/Me
There are two kinds of method to backup registry file, one to induce the registrey content while the other to save a whole registry file. The previous is quite easy. Enter "regedit" in Operation of start menu, select induce in its file menu . One more mthod for backup recommend here : backup the file fully.
The hand-work method for Windows 95 registry backup:Press key F8 to select the 5th item in menu "command Prompt Only" while "Microsoft Windows" appeared when computer startup. Enter into the directory Windows in by CD command,usually with ˇ°CD\Windowsˇą, after the DOS prompt appeared while startup finished. Use the following commands to cancel the property of registry file and copy backup file for registry file.(The demonstration file ended with "user.da2"and "system.da2")

Question: How large the size of registry should be for compression?
Answer: The long the Windows 98/Me exists ,the more softwares installed ,the size of the registry file will be.Usually,the newly installed Windows 2000/XP registry file is 3MB or so,4MB after use,and medium is 5-8M,however,it is not absolute. Compression recommendations for you on 5MB. The registry of Windows 2000/XP usually is small below 12MB, medium below 25MB,big for up than 25.

Question:What is the difference between registry compression and registry scan?
